Alpine Weather Protection – Inspired by a Legend
The Comici jacket is made from innovative, windproof, bonded AlpineWool® softshell fabric – the wool is on the inside to provide a nice degree of extra insulation. It has a PFC-free DWR (durable/water repellent) finish to add an extra layer of protection, plus bonded details and reduced seams for a clean, finished look. This jacket is named after Emilio Comici, an artist among alpinists who was arguably one of the greatest climbers of his generation.

AlpineWool® Softshell
Stormwall is our proprietary, breathable softshell fabric with a tough outer surface that sheds snow and moisture, while the inner support layer and inner windproof membrane allow sweat and moisture vapour to escape easily, keeping you warm and dry. Its four-way mechanical stretch provides full freedom of movement in technical terrain. AlpineWool® is made from wool from mountain sheep, blended with polyester yarns.

Characteristic features of mountains
The mountain-focused features of the Comici include ergonomic sleeves and shoulders for high-altitude movement and a free-form pattern to prevent the hem from riding up when climbing. The one-handed storm hood with rear adjustment and pre-shaped peak is ergonomically designed to fit over a climbing helmet. With two zipped chest pockets, Velcro-adjustable cuffs and an adjustable, stretchy hem to keep you warm when you want it.

This is a rock-resistant, waterproof alpine softshell for aspiring climbers who want more mobility.
